Dr. Enoch Bessah joined the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering as a Lecturer in August 2020. He has good knowledge and experience in agricultural and environmental engineering and management in the areas of climate change, soil and land-use science and engineering, water resources management, ecosystem services and integrated assessments and modelling through education, scientific research, workshop training and publications, employing GIS and remote sensing tools as well as in-situ data collection methods including social survey. His objective is to utilize this knowledge and experience in a leadership capacity to build the area of hydro-climatology and ecosystem services, and its related disciplines and to improve my understanding of the interactions between climate, land, soil, crop, biodiversity and water systems that affect all livelihoods across the globe.
