William holds a PhD degree in Hydrology and Hydraulics, MSc. degree (double degrees) in Forestry and Environmental Sciences and a BSc. degree in Agricultural Engineering.
William is currently a Lecturer in Soil and Water Engineering at the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana and a Research Associate in extreme rainfall and flood modelling and analysis at the Department of Land, Environment and Agro-forestry of the University of Padova, Italy.
William is currently the Scientific Coordinator of the WASCAL Climate Change and Land Use PhD programme at KNUST. He is a Professional member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering.
William's background and experience include (i) soil and water engineering, (ii) sustainable forest and nature management, with keen interest in climate change impacts, mitigation and adaptation, (iii) spatial modelling of extreme floods and (iv) forensic and statistical hydrology.
