Ing. Dr. Denis Edem Dzebre is a Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and a research fellow of The Brew Hammond Energy Centre (TBHEC). He is also a Member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhiE). Dr Dzebre received his BSc (Hons) and MSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering from KNUST, Ghana, in 2009 and 2012 respectively. He also received a PhD in Renewable Energy from NMBU, Norway in 2019.
His main research area is wind energy, with emphasis on wind resources modelling using the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model and other open-source tools. He is also currently researching into wind powered irrigation for small scale vegetable farming.
