Belinda Ntow is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate in the Department of Food Science and Technology, KNUST. She graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology after which she served as a Teaching and Research Assistant in the department.
Miss Ntow’s research areas of interest include Food Polysaccharides, Food Product Development and Food Security.
Miss Ntow is currently serving as an associate on the African Agri-food Knowledge Transfer Partnership between the University of Huddersfield, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Health and Allied Sciences and the Cocoa Processing Company Ltd (AAKTP 13910). This project seeks to develop sustainable novel plant pectin from locally sourced low-market value species to replace imported lecithin in chocolate-based products.
