I am a senior lecturer in the Department of Construction Technology and Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. I hold a doctorate degree in Building Technology specializing in procurement, contract management and quantity surveying. I am a fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) and a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), UK. I am also a member of the Ghana Institute of Construction and an Affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, UK. I have published over 51 scholarly articles relating to contract management, quantity surveying, procurement, and construction. I am a co-author of the Standard Method of Measurement of Building Works for Ghana (SMMG). I am currently the editor of the Quantity Surveyor, a magazine of the Quantity Surveying Division of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors. My extensive activity in the construction research and practice resulted in my association with several construction projects.  I was adjudged the construction industry personality of the year at the Ghana Construction Industry Awards in 2015.
