Dr. Stephen Akunyumu is a Lecturer at the Department of Construction Technology and Management (CTM), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Construction Technology and Management, a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Construction Management, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Construction Management from KNUST, Kumasi. His current research interests include construction risk management, international construction ventures, and construction communication management.

Dr. Stephen Akunyumu is a Member of the Ghana Institute of Construction (GIOC) where he also serves as the National Honorary Secretary. His Ph.D. research developed a risk allocation scheme for International Construction Joint Venture projects in Ghana.
