    1. Team leader in the extraction, isolation, purification, identification, characterization, process development and optimization of medicinal plant extracts targeting the treatment of HIV, pancreatic cancer and diabetic diseases.
    2. Fully synthesized and characterization of quinazolinone hit compounds as inhibitors of PARP-1, poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase exhibiting ~60-80 nM activity.
    3. Fully synthesized and characterization of korormicin derivatives which has an inhibitory activity towards the growth of marine Gram-negative bacteria.
    4. Fully synthesized and characterization of hundreds of novel hit compounds of phenyl-indeno-pyrimidin derivatives as optimized adenosine A2A/A1 receptor antagonists targeting the treatment of Parkinson’s disease (a collaborative CRO with Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.).
    5. Team leader at CanAm in the design, synthesis, purification, identification and characterization of organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry research, chemical libraries, fee-for-service projects, custom chemical synthesis services, process development, optimization, scale-up of chemical intermediates and target compounds.
    6. Team leader in design, synthesis, purification, and identification of new small molecule libraries, scaffolds, building blocks, templates, chemical arrays and new chemical targets for infectious, neurodegenerative, cardiovascular, and metabolic diseases, pain, inflammation as well as oncology for the various programs underway at ChemRoutes.
    7. Involved in the synthesis and building of proprietary ChemKits and ChemCores as drug like ligands in the target areas of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR), Kinase, and Ion channel based research.
