1. I have instituted Radical Cystectomy with Orthotopic Ileal Neobladder Urinary Diversion as a routine surgery at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital since 2018. This surgery involves complete removal of a cancerous urinary bladder and replacing it with a segment of small intestine which allows the patient to void normally. Prior to this feat, patients either had continuous urinary drainage unto the skin of their abdomen (Ileal Conduit) or Mainz II pouch. Most of the patients didn't have surgery at all and endured painful deaths prior to 2018. The technique has also been transferred to other surgeons and residents in the hospital.

2. I have also instituted Radical Retropubic Prostatectomy as a routine surgery for early prostate cancer at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital since the begining of 2021. Prior to that, it used to be performed once in a couple of years and patients had to be referred to Korle Bu or outside the country to have it done or offered Radiotherapy as alternative. Others had Perineal Radical Prostatectomy done here at KATH. The skill has also been transferred to other urologists.

3. I have also completely transformed the outlook of urethral surgeries in the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital with improved outcomes and increased the scope and diversity of the urethral reconstruction techiques for urethral strictures.

4. My publication 'Glanuloplasty with Oral Mucosa Graft following Total Glans Penis Amputation, Case Reports in Urology, Volume 2014 (2014), Article ID 671303' is consistently, the most read article on Researchgate in my department.
