Sebil Charles is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of mathematics, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi Ghana. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics. He also holds BSc Mathematics and MSc Mathematics all from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He also earned a Certificate in Reservoir Engineering and Thermodynamics from a UNESCO fellowship program.
As an Applied Mathematician, his research interests are in: Optimization, Operations research, Differential Equations modelling and Algebra. From these major areas He has conducted research in Data Envelopment Analysis, Portfolio Management, Epidemic models, Shortest Path Problems, Logistics Modelling and Linear Normed Spaces. He has a number of publications in refereed journals from his research conducted.
He teaches Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics, other Departments in the University and the Institute of Distance Learning, KNUST. He has the passion for teaching students to really understand and appreciate the essence of mathematics in the domain of applied Mathematics. His purpose is to make Applied Mathematics Accessible and appreciable to students and researchers.
