Dr. Eric Kwabena Kyeh Abavare is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Physics, KNUST. He obtained his BSc. Degree in Physics from KNUST, MSc. Degree in Applied Physics from the University of Central Lancashire, England and his PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from University of Tsukuba, Japan.
Dr. Abavare is a Theoretical and Computational Physicist interested in materials technology. He has published extensively in leading international peer-reviewed journals and has served as a reviewer for many high-impact journals and grant application (eg. FLAIR). Eric teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He has supervised thesis at the undergraduate, Master's and Doctoral levels and is an external examiner/moderator to a number of universities in Ghana. He is a Member of several national and international bodies such as Ghana Science Association (G.S.A.), African Materials Research Society, Institute of Physics (I.O.P.), U.K and many others.
