January 2016: KNUST Research Fund (KRef) award of Twenty-One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC21,000) for project on "The impact of the District Assembly Common Fund allocations on people with Disabilities at the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assembly level. A Comparative study of five (5) Districts in Ghana" (IDAC) Fund-Disability

October 2017: KNUST Research Fund (KRef) award of Twenty Nine Thousand and Nine Hundred Cedis (GHC29,900) for a project on "Issues of Internally Generated Fund (IGF) mobilisation in Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies in Ghana"

2019 to 2023: A five year DANIDA funded “CREAM – Building Climate-Resilience into Basin Water Management” project with the goal to increase river basin resilience against Climate Change challenges to water infrastructure, livelihood, water-food-energy security, and environmental conservation. Ronald is leading the Work Package 5 component of the project focusing on “Integrated Governance” with partners from the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Water Research Institute (CSIR-WRI) and Arhus University in Denmark working on policy design and policy implementation considering international, national and local interests, stakeholders and potential conflicts over the use of water resources in the Pra and Densu basins.
