Profile

In January 2018, Albert joined the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as a Lecturer in the Planning Department. Albert’s background is in urban studies with broad experience in urban and regional planning gained through teaching and research conducted at universities in Ghana, Australia and China. Albert joined the University of Melbourne in July 2014 and worked in the areas of urban planning and management and urban development studies. He has also contributed to collaborative projects with researchers at University of Melbourne, Australia, Monash University, Australia, Hohai University, China, and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. He is a member of the Ghana Institute of Planners. Albert's current research interests include Urban housing, climate change adaptation; urban studies, urbanisation and urban containment; regional planning; sustainable cities; resilience planning and management, natural resource management. He has published widely on some of these subjects.
