Profile

Charles Peprah holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Planning, a Master of Science Degree in Development Policy and Planning, a Master of Art Degree in International Development Programme, Postgraduate Diploma in Public Sector Management and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Social Systems Studies - International Development Option.

He is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Planning, a position he has occupied since August 2017. He has been actively engaged in research activities to enrich his teaching. Charles Peprah has published his research findings in high impact journals (such as the Transport and Health, Cities, Sustainable Cities and Society, GeoJournal, Outdoor Recreation and Tourism, Environmental Development etc.) in his areas of specialty. His research works, which serve as teaching/research resource materials for students especially in KNUST, are available online. Additionally, he has developed his capacity to collaborate with other researchers in the promotion of knowledge which is seen in the number of co-authorship publications. The papers are available through various online academic platforms (Google Scholar; ResearchGate, LinkedIn) and website of the various journals. In the last four years, he has received over 279 citations and up to 11,915 reads for his articles on various online academic platforms. As evidenced by his publications and other related activities, his promotion of knowledge cuts across to some considerable extent related academic disciplines of (Health Planning, Urban and Planning, Housing and Urban Management) – his areas of specialty.
