Research Areas/Interests

Prof Osei’s work explores how organisations can thrive by re-imagining human resource practices that not only elevate productivity but also protect employee well-being. With a keen eye on emerging workplace challenges—ranging from burnout and abusive supervision to cyberloafing and psychological safety—she investigates how leadership, culture, and policy shape the human experience at work.

Her scholarship pushes beyond traditional HRM to ask bold, future-oriented questions: How can labour law and employee relations evolve in the digital era? What drives the adoption of e-learning in times of disruption? How do social norms and organisational behaviour accelerate or hinder human capital development? By blending theory with practice, she delivers research that resonates with policymakers, businesses, and global development partners.
