Emmanuel Antwi Fordjour is a lecturer at the Department of Language and Communication Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He completed his Ordinary Level Certificate Examination (O’Level) at St Hubert Senior High School, Kumasi and Advanced Level Certificate Examination (A’Level) at Pope John Senior High School, Koforidua.
He is innovative, versatile, indefatigable and always poised for achieving good results. He is sober and magnanimous to every manner of person. In addition to the Akan Language, he speaks French and understands Latin and has superficial knowledge in Kiswahili.
He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Department of English, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi and at the verge of completion with the research topic: Court Language: A Cross Linguistic Translation from English into Akan. Currently, Mr Fordjour lectures in Translation from English into Akan, Akan into English; Theories of Translation and Akan Grammar. His research areas are Semiotics, Akan Language and Culture, Akan Phonetics and Phonology among other areas.
