Dr. Kofi Adu Manyah is the Acting Head of the Department of Modern Languages. He is the possessor of a PhD in Language Science from the University of Strasbourg, France. His dissertation involved a contrastive segmental and suprasegmental analyses, Phonetics and Phonology, of French and Twi with a view to developing a didactics application. He also holds a Masters degree in Teaching of French as a Foreign Language (FLE), a Diploma in International Relations and a Post Graduate Certificate in European Studies from the same university.
He also has a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching of French as a Foreign Language from the Paul Valéry University, Montpellier, France. He is the co-ordinator of the Inter-University programme for Doctoral Studies in French at the Department of Modern Languages.
