Daniel Nkrumah has more than 15 years of experience in media and communication and has worked as a Journalist, Public Relations Manager, Communication Consultant.
He worked as a journalist at the Graphic Communications Group Limited from 2004 to 2011 and in 2008 was nominated as a finalist for the CNN/Multichoice African Journalist of the Year Award.
Daniel also worked as a Lecturer and Public Relations Manager at the Pentecost University and has been a facilitator for training programmes organized by international organizations such as ECOWAS and UNESCO.
He holds a Doctor of Literature degree in Communication from the Fudan University in Shanghai, China. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies and Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry both from the University of Ghana, Legon. Additionally, he has a Certificate in Media Development from DW Akademie.
His research interests are primarily focused in the area of media and communication and seek to explore specific areas such as;
- Influence of new media on traditional media
- Social media influences on corporate communication
- China’s influence on Africa’s culture and media
