Profile

Dr. Martinson Nartey is presently a lecturer at the Department of Materials Engineering, KNUST. Dr. Nartey joined the department after receiving his doctoral degree from the Zhejiang University. Prior to his doctoral studies, he studied in Moscow for his masters education. Over the years, he has worked in the area of composite materials (advanced composites), physical metallurgy (functional alloy development) and sustainable building materials which have led to the publication of several research papers in high impact factor peer-reviewed journals. Since joining KNUST, his focus has been on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable development. In that respect, he is currently working on materials for sustainable construction, wastewater treatment and materials for energy applications.
