Dr. Daniel Nframah Ampong is a Lecturer in the Materials Engineering Department at KNUST. He has expertise in the area of Physical and Extractive Metallurgy, Exhaust After-treatment Systems in Diesel Engines, Pollutant Abatements, Renewable Energy Generation and Storage. His research interest is in the area of materials for advanced energy applications (Supercapacitors, Batteries), Extractive and Physical Metallurgy.

Dr. Ampong has authored and co-authored several articles and book chapters in very high impact journals with wide readability and citations.
