Profile

Ms. Lamptey is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Land Economy at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She teaches and mentors students in courses related to land-use planning and administration and planning laws and regulations at the Department of Land Economy and Department of Planning, respectively. This role deepens my engagement with the pressing developmental issues facing Ghana and the wider sub-Saharan region, particularly at the intersection of climate change, gender equity, and sustainable land management.

She studied BSc. Land Economy at the undergraduate level at KNUST and furthered her masters' education in Land Governance and Policy at the Department of Land Economy, KNUST. 

Ms. Lamptey is an alumnus and expert of the Network of Excellence of Land Governance in Africa (NELGA) and part of the West Africa Anglophone node. A network to strengthen human and institutional capacities for the implementation of the African Union agenda on land and established in cooperation with the African Land Policy Centre (ALPC), DAAD, GIZ, the World Bank, and other partners.

Ms. Lamptey is currently a Student-Centred Support Ambassador of the Directorate of Students Affairs (DoSA), KNUST to the College of Arts and Built Environment (CABE), KNUST. As part of the first inaugural cohort of DoSA Experience Programme, this initiative aims to foster collaboration and enhance student-centred service delivery across the university.
