2008-2012           Research grant for doctoral candidates and young academics and scientists

Received the German Academic Exchange Services (DAAD) Scholarship to conduct PhD research at the University of Stuttgart

2010                     African Good Governance Network (AGGN) Grant for Leadership Training

                             Received the grant to be a member of the AGGN and participate in its yearly 

                             leadership training. AGGN is a group of highly qualified individuals who have  

                             studied in Germany and yearly 10 students are selected after rigorous interview by

                             the DAAD to join the network

2014                     Selected as a mentor for the 2014 Urban Transformations Mentor & Student

                             Research Lab                    

                              Common Initiative of ISOCARP and the members of Gda?sk University of 

                             Technology student research club - LEM-ur. Results of the research was part of an

                             exhibition for ISOCARP 2014 congress published in fall/winter 2014
