Martin Larbi (PhD) is a lecturer at the Department of Architecture with research interest in sustainable architecture, green transitions, pro-environmental behaviour and liveable and smart urbanism. He was awarded his PhD in Architecture and Urban Design in 2019 at the School of Architecture and Built Environment, University of Adelaide, South Australia. Martin is a scholar of the Autralian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) and a Green Star Accredited Professional of the Green Building Council of Australia for Design and As-Built rating. Martin is also an alumnus of Beijing Normal University (PR China) where he obtained his masters degree in Contemporary Development in 2013. His first degree and postgraduate diploma are in architecture which he obtained from the Department of Architecture, KNUST. He started his teaching career at the University of Adelaide where he coordinated a course in Urban Design Principles from 2018 to 2020. He was also involved in other courses such as Advanced Architecture Technology, Landscapes in Transition, Environmental Design, Sustainable Construction, Construction Management and Research Design. He is currently teaching courses in Environmental Behaviour Studies, Urban Design, Environmental Planning and Architectural Design Theory at the Department of Architecture, KNUST.
