Dr KWOFIE is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He is also a A Senior Research Associate at the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. My areas of specialization include: Building Informatics, Housing, Construction Technology and Construction Project Management (Communication & Managerial Efficiency). As a chartered Architect, He holds BSc (Hons) & PG Dip. Degrees in Architecture, MPhil degree in Housing and PhD degree in Construction management with extensive industry and research experience in Construction Project Management & Housing. He is currently the College Examinations Officer after serving as the Faculty Exams Officer for the Faculty of Built Environment, Departmental Examination Officer & Deputy coordinator of undergraduate programmes in his department. He lectures most of my courses at the undergraduate and deliver an annual lecture in research methodology at the graduate levels and has over the years served on a number of both statutory and ad-hoc committees in my university, nationally and internationally.
He has also served as a reviewer for several indexed national and international journals and conferences. He has been involved in various typologies of projects and researched into a number of construction and housing related issues in Ghana and other African countries and have also participated in a number of international conferences and represented as a resource person in international workshops and postgraduate seminars. He is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional, a proactive academic, and a team player with a strong ability to efficiently manage projects from inception through to completion.
