- PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. My areas of specialization include: Building Informatics, Housing, Construction Technology and Construction Project Management (Communication & Managerial Efficiency). As a chartered Architect, I hold BSc (Hons) & PG Dip. Degrees in Architecture, MPhil degree in Housing and PhD degree in Construction management with extensive industry and research experience in Construction Project Management & Housing. I am currently the Assistant Examinations Officer for the Faculty of Built Environment & Deputy coordinator of undergraduate programmes in my department. I lecture most of my courses at the undergraduate and deliver an annual lecture in research methodology at the graduate levels and have over the years served on a number of both statutory and ad-hoc committees in my university, nationally and internationally.
I have also served as a reviewer for several indexed national and international journals and conferences. I have been involved in various typologies of projects and researched into a number of construction and housing related issues in Ghana and other African countries and have also participated in a number of international conferences and represented as a resource person in international workshops and postgraduate seminars. I am an enthusiastic and dedicated professional, a proactive academic, and a team player with a strong ability to efficiently manage projects from inception through to completion.
