Profile

Gideon Adom-Bamfi received his B. S degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana, in the year 2011. He served as a Teaching Assistant and Texas Instruments Microelectronics Lab Administrator during his national service period.

He later received his M. S degree in Electrical Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, USA.

In the Summers of 2013 and 2014, he had internships at Texas Instruments, Silicon Valley Analog, California, USA, where he worked on the design of CMOS devices for high-speed data applications.

He worked as a Lecturer at the Ghana Technology University College before joining the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty at KNUST.

His research interests include Analog and Digital Integrated Circuit Design and Fabrication, and Intentional Controlled Islanding Schemes for Power Systems.
