Mr. Daniel Kwegyir is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. Currently a PhD candidate at KNUST, he holds an MPhil in Power Systems Engineering and a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the same institution. As Industrial Training Coordinator and Engineering in Society Coordinator, He is instrumental in bridging the gap between academic theory and practical industry experience for students. He also serves as a member of the Coordinating Committee on Stakeholder Engagement and the Industrial Liaison Committee, underscoring his commitment to fostering collaboration between academia and industry. His research interests lie in energy management systems, optimization algorithms, and machine learning applications in electrical engineering. He has co-authored several journal articles, including works on EV charging demand forecasting, solar PV systems, and electricity theft classification. His technical proficiency includes MATLAB, OriginPro, Microsoft Office Suite, and Weka Machine Learning Software. With a robust background in research and teaching, as well as experience in sustainable energy projects and industry internships, he is deeply committed to advancing sustainable energy solutions. His dedication is evident in his comprehensive teaching and mentorship, where he nurtures the next generation of engineers.
