Profile
Dr. Donkor is Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering Systems at the KNUST. His professional interest is in the development of mathematical and statistical models for understanding the behaviour of complex engineering and business systems, and the subsequent decision-making for their operation and control. He teaches Engineering Economics; Quantitative Models for Systems Engineering; Statistics and Data Analysis for Civil Engineers; and Research Methodology. He holds a B.Sc in Civil Engineering from KNUST; an M.Sc in Sanitary Engineering (with a concentration in Water Utility Management) from UNESCO-IHE, The Netherlands; and a Ph.D in Engineering Management from The George Washington University, USA. He is a member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), and the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science (INFORMS), and a former member of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering (IISE). Two of his publications have been profiled in The Industrial Engineer.
