Miriam Appiah-Brempong is a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. She holds a BSc. degree in Civil Engineering, an MSc. in Water Resources and Environmental Management with a specialisation in Sanitary Engineering and a PhD in Environmental Sanitation and Waste Management. She teaches Water and Wastewater Treatment Processes, Environmental Engineering Technology and Environmental Studies. Her research interest is in water and wastewater treatment, development of coagulants and adsorbents for contaminant removal from water and wastewater, modelling of adsorption processes, solid waste managment and circular economy.
