Dr Seth Christopher Yaw Appiah is  Lecturer at the Department  of Sociology and Social Work , Kwame Nkrumah University  of Science and Technology. Dr Seth Christopher Yaw Appiah is Medical Sociologist and Infectious disease public health scientist, and an African Union Research Fellow. He holds a PhD Reproductive Health Sciences from the Pan African University Life and Earth Sciences Institute University of Ibadan (PAULESI) and an MPhil Sociology (Health) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.  Dr Appiah has had further training in Sexual Reproductive Right in Africa (SRRA) from the Centre for Human Right University of Pretoria and training in Gender-Based Analysis of Vector-borne Diseases and Climate Change from School of Public Health University of the Witwatersrand and International health and medical research from University of Munich (LMU)-Centre for International Health, Germany

Dr Appiah was a Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Sociology and Social Work / Faculty of Social Sciences / Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana). He earned his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Arts Sociology and Social Work from the Department of Sociology and Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana).
