Profile

Nurudeen is an alumnus of the Department of Sociology and Social Work, where he also served as a teaching and research assistant. His research focuses on Social Work with children and adolescents in deprived situations, particularly the vital role Social Work can play in advancing social justice and equity. He is a product of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and Ramapo College of New Jersey. Nurudeen is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Social Work at the University of Calgary in Canada. His research focuses on exploring the experiences of children in street situations using participatory action research methodology.
