Dr. Elizabeth Nana Mbrah Koomson-Yalley received her joint doctoral degree in Anthropology and Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2017. In 2017, she was employed in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as a lecturer for teaching, research, and service at the Department of Sociology and Social Work. Her research interest engages with vulnerable groups including irregular migrants, women, health and development as well as raising awareness on Ghanaian/African innovative efforts and entrepreneurial skills. Her research contributes to creating opportunities for advocating for vulnerable populations.
