Bernard Obeng is a Senior Lecturer in the Sociology and Social Work Department of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Master Philosophy Degrees in Sociology from the University of Ghana and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast. He conducts research in Human Resource Management, but, more especially, in Medical Sociology. He teaches undergraduate and supervises both postgraduate and undergraduate dissertation. His research articles have appeared in the African Journal of Reproductive Health, PLOS ONE, BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth, International Journal of Innovative and Advanced Studies, Social Science and Medicine and Advances in Sexual Medicine.supervises both postgraduate and undergraduate dissertation.
