I have been conducting resarch on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) for the past 20 years. I have conducted more than 20 clinical trials and basic research in onchocerciasis and lymphatic filariasis. I have more than 90 peer-reviewed  publications

I have been teaching Clinical Parasitology in the Medical School and Faculty of Allied Health Sciences since 2007 and have risen through the ranks to become Full Professor of Parasitology and Global Health
