Dr. Eliezer Togbe holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Pathology and is a lecturer of Clinical Biochemistry in the department of Medical Diagnostics, KNUST. Dr. Togbe seeks to understand the pathology of Diabetes and its related complications such as diabetic nephropathy.
His research interests include Malnutrition in Children, Obesity in school-going Children, Metabolic Syndrome, Diabetes and Diabetic Nephropathy, and Quality Assurance in the clinical chemistry laboratory.
Among other things, he is involved in the research and designing of clinical chemistry courses and materials, responsible for the departmental administrative tasks, and Implement University and supervising students' research projects.
He functions in the university apart from lecturing as a Cognate Member of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Moderator of Affiliated University Colleges-(Garden City College), Member of the College of Health Sciences Scholarship and Social Funds Management Team, Departmental Examination officer (2016-2020), Assessor of National Accreditation Board and Church Health Management and Demonstrator in Current Health Issues since 1992.
He has published several full articles and abstracts.
He is a member of the Ghana Association Medical Laboratory Scientists(GAMLS) and American Association of Clinical Chemistry(AACC)
