Michael Sakyi Boateng is  a Barrister at Law and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana and the College Librarian of College of Health Sciences, KNUST. Prior to that he served as the College Librarian of College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Head of the Lending Department, and the Head of Cataloguing Department of the Main Library. Mr. Boateng has served on many Committees in KNUST and Ghana as a whole. He is currently the Chairman of the Quality Assurance Sub-Committee of the  University Library System and a member of the College Board,  College of Health Sciences, KNUST.. Michael Sakyi Boateng was a pioneer member of the Infromation Literacy programme in KNUST and taught the course for many years. He joined KNUST with vast experience from the public sector, academia and the private sector.
