Mr. Yaw Akwoyire Aviamu is a professional librarian with over 2 decades of working experience. He obtained his Diploma in librarianship in 2009 whiles a junior staff of the KNUST Library system. In 2013, Mr. Aviamu graduated in Information Studies with Sociology, from the University of Ghana. By dint of hard work and perseverance coupled with the quest for higher qualification he later obtained Master of Arts and Master of Philosophy in Information Studies in 2016 and 2020 respectively from the University of Ghana, Legon. Mr. Aviamu is currently the Acting head of the Academic Engagment Department at the Prempeh II Library. Prior to that he had occupied leadership and supervisory roles, such as Head, School of Veterinary Medicine Library, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Library, Learning Commons, and others.
