Dr. Emmanuel Kofi Garsonu is a lecturer in the Department of Geography and Rural Development at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He holds a MSc. Degree in Cartography from Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography in Russia and PhD in Geography and Rural Development. He has worked at Survey Department for a number of years as a Cartographer and tutor at Ghana School of Surveying and Mapping. He is a member of American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, British Cartographic Society and Ghana Geographical Association.
