Awards and Recognition

  • Won Africa.com’s Brilliant African Innovations Against COVID-19.
  • Led a team of scientists from Incas Diagnostics to collaborate with KNUST to develop a rapid test kit for covid19
  • Led of a team from Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon, South Africa and Nigeria to win WHO’s Covid19 Hackathon with CoviTTrads a Covid19 testing and tracking platform.
  • Named top 30 innovators in health in Africa in the World Health Organization’s Africa Innovation Challenge in 2019.
  • Named as one of 10 nominees in the 2018 Innovation Prize for Africa to be held in Kigali Rwanda in 2019.
  • Was selected a 2018 Tony Elumelu Fellow in Business and Entrepreneurship
  • Nominated as one of 50 most influential young Ghanaians in 2017
  • First Place in the Burton Morgan Business Plan competition in Purdue University, USA for developing a platform for diagnosing STDs using urine.
  • Second Place Schurz Innovation challenge in Indiana, USA for developing a platform for diagnosing STDs using urine.
