His research interests include wireless networks, wireless propagation analysis, mobile network performance analysis, opportunistic application of commercial microwave links, radio frequency energy harvesting techniques.

He is currently the Project Leader for a 330,000 Canadian Dollars project sponsored by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) with a focus on Strengthening Engineering Ecosystem in Sub-Saharan Africa (SEESA).

Positions he has occupied includes IDL Departmental Examination Officer, Postgraduate Programs Coordinator, Departmental Vacation Training Officer, College Vacation Training Coordinator and Field Trip Coordinator. He is currently the Sectional Head for Communication and Networking in the department, and also the Industrial Liaison Officer

He is a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers
