Dr. Justice Owusu Agyemang is a Lecturer in the Department of Telecommunication Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana, where he also received his BSc, MPhil, and PhD degrees in Telecommunication Engineering.

His research focuses on the security of emerging and networked systems: lightweight security mechanisms for resource-constrained Internet of Things (IoT) devices, network and application security, software-defined networking and 5G-and-beyond network optimization, blockchain and distributed-ledger security, applied cryptography and quantum information science, and the security of artificial intelligence and machine learning systems. He has authored more than 35 peer-reviewed publications in venues including IEEE Access, IEEE WCNC, Scientific Reports, Cluster Computing, IET Networks, and Elsevier's Internet of Things, with recent work on resilient offline payment over wireless mesh networks, zero-knowledge-proof-based data integrity for Industrial IoT, and AI-assisted healthcare technologies.

Dr. Agyemang leads SPERIXLABS, a cybersecurity research laboratory, where academic research meets hands-on security practice. He is certified as an ICSI CNSS Certified Network Security Specialist, an EC-Council Certified Cybersecurity Technician, and a Certified SOC Analyst, and specializes in reverse engineering, malware analysis, network and application security, and blockchain security. His applied work includes published security analyses of banking, streaming, and messaging platforms — among them a security audit of a bank's mobile application and reverse-engineering studies of widely used Ghanaian mobile applications — documented through technical reports and a research blog.
