Kingsford Sarkodie Obeng Kwakye received his BSc Telecommunication Engineering degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, in 2009. He served as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, KNUST from 2009 to 2010 after which he won the Chinese government scholarship to pursue his Masters and PhD in China.

 He obtained his MSc and PhD (in Electronic Science and Technology) Degrees from the University of Electronics Science and Technology of China in 2012 and 2018 respectively. 

He joined KNUST as a Lecturer in 2020 and has since been teaching courses in Fibre Optic Transmission Systems, Telecommunication Policy, Applied Electricity and Electrical Measurements and Instruments. 

His research interests include array antennas, circularly polarized antennas, bandwidth enhancement techniques in planar antennas, EM Fields in multi-layered media and Fibre optic Systems.
