My research interests lie in advancing circular economy and addressing climate change and other environmental sustainability challenges with climate-smart bioresource valorisation techniques, sustainable waste management and agroecological techniques.

My current research activities  have focused on-

1. Quantifying the climate change and environmental benefits of the usage of compost and biochar from organic waste  in tropical agroecosystem

2. The production and quality analysis of biochar and compost from organic waste 

3. Developing and evaluating sustainable means of waste management and  bioresources valorisation

4. Organic waste characterisation and compositional analysis through proximate, ultimate and various biochemical constituent analysis

5. The bioeconomy of aquatic invasive plants 

6.  Understanding the motivation and obstacles to pro-environmental behaviour and adoption of sustainability-oriented innovative technology and practices
