Project: Optimising Food Waste Composting with Rice Husk-Derived Biochar for Climate-Smart and Circular Agriculture in Ghana
- Leading a funded research project with a multidisciplinary team investigating biochar-enhanced composting systems as a circular and climate-smart agriculture intervention.
- Conducting controlled field trials to evaluate nutrient dynamics, quality, phytotoxicity, and greenhouse gas reduction from biochar-enriched compost application.
- Developing optimisation models to improve organic waste valorisation and soil amendment performance for circular agriculture applications.
