Rabbi Darko is a Counselling Psychologist, lecturer, and PhD candidate in Counselling Psychology at the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. He currently serves as a Licensed Counselling Psychologist at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he provides mental health and psychotherapy services to students, staff, and the wider community. He is also a part-time lecturer in Psychopathology and Treatment, supervising postgraduate research in counselling and psychology.

His research focuses on counselling psychology, mental health and psychological well-being, guidance and counselling, educational psychology, family and parenting, student development, addiction, and workplace wellness. His scholarly work has been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals, with studies addressing school guidance and counselling, career development, parenting, family functioning, and mental health promotion. He has contributed to several nationally and internationally funded research projects, including initiatives on school guidance and counselling, university wellness, and youth mental health.

Rabbi Darko is a Professional Counselling Psychologist registered with the Ghana Psychological Council and holds memberships in the American Psychological Association, the Ghana Psychological Association, the Ghana National Association of Certified Counsellors, and the International Society of Substance Use Professionals. He is committed to advancing evidence-based counselling practice and research that informs policy and improves psychological well-being in Ghana and other low- and middle-income countries.
