Profile

Having cultivated a strong and growing passion for Information and Communication Technology (ICT), my journey took root during my mathematics and statistics degree at the University of Cape Coast. This education equipped me with robust analytical and problem-solving skills, which have been crucial in my ICT career. Starting in 2011, I served as a Senior ICT Assistant at KNUST's Institute of Distance Learning (IDL), supporting their remote learning infrastructure. By 2016, I advanced to Principal ICT Assistant at the University Information Technology Services (UITS), making significant contributions to the university's core ICT operations, particularly in networking and systems administration. In 2019, I continued as a Principal ICT Assistant at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR), Provost’s Office, where I managed ICT resources across various departments. A promotion in 2022 led me to the role of Junior Systems Analyst, bringing new leadership and technical responsibilities. My expertise has broadened from network engineering to include system analysis and comprehensive ICT support. I have strong skills in computer hardware (provisioning, deployment, troubleshooting), proactive ICT infrastructure maintenance, and managing network services like DHCP and DNS. I also possess a solid understanding of Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments, including Active Directory and Windows Deployment Services. Furthermore, I have practical software development skills in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Express.js, and React.js, along with experience in OOP, MVC, and client-server architecture for building efficient and user-friendly applications. My career demonstrates a dedication to professional growth and a passion for leveraging technology to solve practical challenges and improve institutional efficiency across all ICT systems and services.
