Current activities in the Department:

 Introduction of the Diploma Program in Horticulture Management, that has taken off this academic year at IDL

Raising of over Five Thousand Grafted Mango Seedling s for ADRA

Rehabilitation of the Orchard in the department just to mention a few

2012 to Date: Senior Lecturer, Department of Horticulture, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.

Duties: Teaching, Research and Services to the community as stated in my conditions of service.

2010 to 2012: Head, Department of Horticulture, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.

DUTIES: Responsible for the day to day running of the Department, and act as the representative of the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, the Provost of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the Vice Chancellor of this University, in the execution of the strategic goals and plans of the University and to see to the implementation and compliance of new guidelines or directives as and when enacted for the smooth running of the institution. I am also actively engaged in teaching all my scheduled courses both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, I also ensure Departmental needs are met such as procurement of materials to enhance effective teaching and also co-ordinate the academic work of the teaching staff of the Department.
