Research Areas/Interests
1. Biovdiversity assessment in Savannah ecosystems;
2. Plant spatial distirbution pattern and diversity, along disturbance gradients;
3. Quantfying fish response to disturbance regime in different habitat types (i.e. swamps, marshes, riverine and artificial wetlands);
4. Bird assemblages in different floristic habitats, in protected and unprotected areas.
5. Classifying plant functional groups in different habitats and determining their traits-environment links and distribution pattern.
6. Application of Kotze et al. (2005) model and Acreman model in assessing wetlands functional status.
