Profile

Samuel Tawiah Baidoo is a Lecturer at the Department of Economics, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. He serves as an Associate Editor for Economic Studies (Estudios Economicos) and Editorial Board Member for SN Business and Economics. He also serves as an article reviewer for several journals including Economics of Transition and Institutional Change, Research in Globalization, Review of Economics and Political Science, Social Science Quarterly, Foreign Trade Review, Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences, African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation and Development, and Cogent Economics and Finance.

Samuel Tawiah Baidoo holds Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from KNUST. He obtained his Master of Philosophy and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the same university. Samuel benefited from study grant from the Volkswagen Foundation for his PhD studies. His research interests are in the area of International Trade and Finance, Economic Globalization, Macroeconomics, Financial Inclusion/Literacy and savings mobilization. Some of his research output have appeared in reputed peer reviewed journals and international conference proceedings.
