Dr. Esther White is the Acting College Librarian for the College of Art and Built Environment, KNUST. She has been an Academic Librarian since June, 2012. She provides trainings geared towards the acquisition of skills essential for effective utilisation of library information resources and services for teaching and research.

Her research interests and trainings revolve around scholarly communication guidance, publishing trends and channels, academic librarianship, effective literature search and tools for information retrieval.

She holds PhD (Library and Information Studies) from University of the Western Cape, South Africa, MA (Library Studies) from University of Ghana and BA (Publishing Studies) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.

Esther is a member of Ghana Library Association (GLA), University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) and Library and Information Association of South Africa (LIASA).
