Dr Ralph Nyadu-Addo is a Senior Lecturer and currently, the Head, Department of Publishing Studies, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi-Ghana. He has been a Consultant in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management since 2000. From 2004 he has lectured at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. Ralph was the first Head of the Industrial and Professional Relations (IPR), Centre for Business Development (CBD) and Kumasi Business Incubator (KBI) all in KNUST respectively. He led the team that developed the IPR, CBD and KBI concepts and sourced funding for physical structures, equipment as well as operational expenditure.

Dr. Nyadu-Addo has worked directly under three Vice-Chancellors of KNUST as an advisor on business development, fundraising, entrepreneurship development and promotion of industry-academia relations. He has also worked in top managerial positions in some corporate firms in Europe and Ghana. He has travelled extensively in Africa, Europe, Middle East, Asia and North America for workshops, training programmes, internships and conferences. He is certified by the National Business Incubator Association (NBIA) of USA as a trainer and coach.

In 2013/2014 he was commissioned by the French Foreign Ministry together with two others to assist eleven Francophone countries in Africa to develop their capacities in the areas of Entrepreneurship, industry-academia relationship and accreditation among others. From 2014, he has been building capacities of tertiary institutions and vocational outfits in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Vietnam with the support of the German government in the areas of business incubation, entrepreneurship development centres and alternative fundraising.

He has raised over thirteen million USD (13m USD) that has been used to undertake various projects in KNUST and other institutions including the KNUST Jubilee Shopping Mall, CBD and KBI blocks. Some key German projects include: iN4iN, AGEA and ACCESS  all under DAAD/BMZ sponsorship.

He has received several local and international awards including German Ambassador’s award for special services and KNUST 2016 Awards for Best Senior Member (Service and Innovation). He has several awards at the College level. He has a degree in Publishing/Print Management, a Masters degree in Small Business, and PhD in Business of Creative Art in Germany on KAAD scholarships. He is a social entrepreneur, motivational speaker, coach, event organiser, fundraiser, moderator, publisher and print media expert.
