Joseph Ntim is a Junior Systems Analyst in the University Information Technology Services (UITS) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi. He is currently the ICT Manager of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. He was the former chairman of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences website committee for the 2017/2018 Academic year
Mr. Ntim has over 12 years of experience working in operating system deployment and configuration. Additionally, he has over 10 years of experience in LAN networking configuration. During these periods, he has been a lead on several projects, including setting up various networks in the arts, KSB, and social sciences.
Mr. Ntim attended the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, where he read physics for his BSc. degree with an electronics major. He further pursued this and received a professional certificate in business management and administration from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) in the United Kingdom and a postgraduate diploma in information technology from Amity University in India. He has also obtained a Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Madras in India
Mr. Ntim has been a resource person (from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences) at the 2020–2021 academic year freshmen orientation. He took advantage of the opportunity to strongly advocate for the use of digital communication tools available at the university to improve teaching and learning.
The use of technology and creativity to solve societal challenges is something Joseph is enthusiastic about encouraging and enabling. Because he is a goal-oriented individual, he consistently advocates for a solution-based viewpoint in every circumstance. He values collaborative change-making with other leaders or teams, transparency, and values-based leadership.
